If you can save an image of the 1910 map, you should be able to print it out in gray scale. If further changes need to be done, one of the editing programs should be able to "white-out" some of the intrusive detail using the paintbrush feature. I'm not sure how far or how much you would need to do, but this might work.

I think I have the exact maps you are looking for.
Here's an example of one (cropped a little and reduced in size to meet technical SOR specs.
Yes Michael - I can see it on my phone so it would work printed out.
That's fabulous. Do you have all of the continents? I'm going to be starting with Africa and then move my way around the world so I'll need all 5 maps.
Thanks WB for your suggestion. I used to be and to do things like that quite intricately but I've lost the majority of my eyesight over the past few years so even with my adaptive computer equipment, it would take me longer to do that type of thing than mount 6 albums
I miss being able to do those kinds of things. I used to be a great graphic designer.
Yes, I have all the world. They are from the 1939 Scott International. I can scan them in for you at full scale and email them to you. That way you can edit the images as necessary for your needs.
It looks fantastic what I can see from the phone. Thanks Michael.
The downfall of being blind - or extremely low vision is I can't see details without very large magnification on my tv and that is literally several centimetres of a stamp as I move the magnifier across it.
I was afraid I'd have to give up my hobby but now more than ever, I'm in love with it. Before they may have been beautiful but now particularly with my WW collection being time limited with the majority of the stamps engraved, the tiny circle on my left forefinger that has enough sensation to read my Braille books can pick up many of the intricacies of the engraving.
I'd like to ask a favour to anyone who can assist me in finding continent maps circa 1930 in black and white. I've figured out how I want to create my WW collection but I want a map of each continent at the beginning of each section. The problem is, when I google for maps I come up with a lot which are all, no doubt awesome and quite detailed. Unfortunately, I can't see them to read the countries. I found one that is absolutely fantastic, it's actually c. 1910 and it includes all the countries that I will have in my 1840-1949 collection. But it is so detailed and the colour of the map makes it impossible for me to read.
If anyone can help with this small project, please pm me.
Thank you.
