at this rate of discounting, it should be in every viewers' wheel house in a week or two.
It's apparent that you have no credibility with some eBay postcard sellers!
Hey Moderators:
Could we create a separate Discussion Topic that we could just add posts like this to?
It might be a fun place for folks to start new "You Wouldn't Believe The ^$% I just saw for sale" threads instead of spreading them all over the place.
I could be the Moderator if you like...

We have that. It's called the "SOR Diner".
Sometimes you just have to laugh!
About a week ago my eBay search agent for USA 314 in the cover section sent me an email lead. I already have a bunch of these on cover, most of them philatelic type usage between collectors or dealers of that era. And there's a good deal of misidentified stamps. This is one of those stories.
The search agent sent me to an auction for two 1908 era post cards purporting that the stamp on them was 314. As usual it was just the very common Scott 300. But this seller, who started out with "I know nothing about stamps..." listed these very common post cards for $500. I don't know why, but I sent the seller an eBay message advising her that the stamp was not 314, and that the two postcards were dollar items.
When I do this kind of thing, sometimes I get no response. Sometimes I get a derogatory reply. This time I got a nice note. She replied that she got the cards and a stamp album from a storage unit auction. She sent me a few photos of the album, extremely common used stamps in no particular order, and a lot of them damaged. There was also those rusty colored mold stains. She also told me she had a total of 7 postcards of equal quality to what she had posted. She asked if they were worth listing or should just be thrown away.
My response was that she should take a stab at selling it all. I told her to list the 8 postcards for $9.99, unless she was willing to try to sell them one at a time, then they may pull $3-5 each. And the album, I advised her that the stamps were penny stamps at most, and just put the album up for a $9.99 minimum bid. I said that if either got a $9.99 bid, that she did okay. If the bids went higher, she did well.
She replied to say thank you. I figured she took my advise and all was well, until I got this email from eBay today....
Anybody wanna save $350????
