When collecting a specific topic let`s say Aviation..... ...which is the best to collect...a souvenir page with stamp/cancel and info or a FD Cover?
I like to collect a number of types of covers bearing the same stamp issue but I`m wondering about the first day stamp cancel.....

Collect anyway that seems logical to you. Collect to make yourself happy. If you are like me you will find yourself going down many different avenues. I do it for fun. My main interest is US postal history and cancels and markings. I would love to find my fancy cancels on pristine covers franked with a Large Banknote stamp but they come in many varieties. On cover, off cover, on postal cards, etc.
