Correct. The stamps are not listed by Scott.

The black overprints, on top of the red overprints, was privately applied by the Russian Company of Navigation and Trade to Russian Offices in the Turkish Empire stamps of 1900-1910 (per the note in Scott).

It's all right to use a digital camera to take images of stamps. I do it all the time. However, use of a tripod to steady the camera is a must to get a clear picture.

Of course they will have some value. How much, probably not too much.
Scott footnotes them

Michel doesn't mention them that I could find

Gibbons used to list them, but removed them when it was found that the stamps were sold, but had no postal usage. The footnote in Gibbons Russia catalog states that used examples are actually canceled-to-order.

Hi,

Could you possibly post a photo or scan that shows the first line of the overprint more clearly?

I would expect to see the Russian letters corresponding to "R. O. P. i T." (with a small letter "i").

Hi! Thank you both. I cant send a more clear pic at this time because I am still waiting for the return of them from expertization. They were voted as "no opinion" from a well known firm actually. I had 12 total stamps voted that way. However..I think I recall the overprint says "Piastres", Turkish as Michael said..but I am not sure if that means anything. Thank you so much. I wish I could see if there is a value to these.

I'm lucky to have a partner from the Ukraine, I usually get her to translate the writing on Russian stamps and banknotes.
