I picked this up at a local stamp fair a couple of years ago, as I thought it rather odd. It is a photocopied letter sheet that has been folded into an envelope form. It appears to be a last day use of the registration label era (R-Zettel-Ara):
My questions are: Were all German registration labels discontinued after 12th July 1997? Or did it just apply to certain areas?
Was the German registration 'service' actually terminated? If so, what replaced it.
