Cheryl---The diamond Jubilee Of Confederation Flag Cancel was used in Montreal and Quebec city (French Language) and nine other cities across Canada in English. They are: (Calgary,Charlottetown,Halifax,Ottawa,Saint John,Toronto,Vancouver,Winnipeg and Regina)Earliest usage was June 27,1927 with some locations only using for a few days--they are scarce. Will send you a private message with more info.--I see a new collection coming!
Is it that the cancels are scarce on cover, or do stamps with partial cancels command a premium as well? I tend to see many of those cancels on loose stamps.
If I wanted to collect these not on cover, I would want them on piece complete with the dater stamp. Part slogans on loose stamps don't do it for me ( or I suspect for anyone else), whereas they ( and even wavy lines and ink-jets ) complete on piece are of interest.

Yes a complete cancel on piece would interest me...
I would want the city of mailing to be shown
nice strike ...
