Here's an interesting little bonus with the stamp illustrated below:



The stamp was surcharged to cover needed supplies until the new regular issue was issued. Note in the bottom selvedge that they even printed two cancel lines over the column value for the stamp pane.

Finally, selvedge with a purpose! That should make one of our people here especially happy!
