Scene from Monday night's Masterpiece Theater presentation of Victoria. Sir Rowland Hill presents several sheets of the Penny Black for her approval. She remarks that it seems odd that users of the stamp will have to lick her image.

The show is very entertaining. The name of the dog is Dash.

Would be nice to have one of those sheets. I believe the Royal Collection has one.

PS The Crown, about QEII is also very good. (Netflix)

Wait until she realizes they will be splotching/defacing her image with blobs of colored ink!
