"Section E. Unacceptable Listing Practices
- Seller claims that item being offered for sale has an authentication certificate but does not provide a clear and readable image of the most current certificate, or the certificate is not from a recognized and competent authority."
This is to advise that a new rule has been added to the Auctions.
It is customary in the hobby for sellers who claim that they have a certificate for an item that they are selling to provide a readable image of that certificate. We have not had a rule that specifically stated that, and we have had at least one example where a seller has made such a claim, but not provided an image of the certificate. Thus, the clarification in the rules to require that an image of any certificate be provided in the listing.
