I hope you didn't get here a non-stick sauté pan as a gift...chocolate diamonds....maybe?
TuskenRaider
Got a nice black Lighthouse stock book for holding my extras...
Some cash to spend in approval books
My husband bought me one Trans-Mississippi stamp #291 and one Columbian stamp #242 both used of course. They are still nice as those 2 stamps in MNH condition will probably be out of my price range for a while. He also bought me 4 packs of various MNH stamps.
Got a nice dual UV light (long wave/short wave) from my wife that will make for lots of fun in the new year!
Eric
Nothing philatelic for me, didn't expect there to be. My wife and I don't exchange presents but she knew I needed a winter coat and presented me with one we would have bought anyway. She likes coffee mugs so I had one made up with our daughter's wedding picture on it. She liked that. Of course when packing up to go to New Jersey for the holidays I forgot it, so she received it when we got home yesterday.
Upon our return home yesterday, Saturday's mail was in the box. I got a package in the mail from one of my favorite cover vendors who had a 50% off sale on their website. I grabbed up a bunch of NJ postmarks, all older and some DPOs. That was Christmas for me!
I have received a number of stamp-related gifts this year none were at Christmas time.
12 packs of mounts
11 packs of hinges
10 German packets
9 from USA
8 more from China
7 sets from Poland
6 sets from Russia
5 GOLDEN TONGS
4 packs from Vario
3 French proofs
2 Penny Blacks...and a stockbook full of older Israel.
Actually, just the first and last ones.

I got a 2017 Scott USA Specialised Catalogue!

DO Christmas Seals count?
"I got a 2017 Scott USA Specialised Catalogue!"
Carl,
Yes - Christmas seals DO count!
Randy
I was surprised when I received this cover from my daughter for a Christmas gift. She actually took my hints of what I like, and found this on E-bay for 4 dollars. I was very pleased!
My reference book "Hong Kong Registration Labels" by Ming W. Tsang lists this label under General Post Office Type HKIA medium 'R' with regular frame, number in black, roulette on all sides, used from September 1947 to March 1951, $30.
Linus
I guess my two Christmas Seals count.
Another nice present was to find out someone bought a few of my stamps on an Approval while I was on vacation. (I always like it when someone buys my stamps.)
I had a great week with family and I hope everyone else had Happy Holidays and has a great year 2017.
Karen
I received "Put a stamp on it", the new Herman Herst book.
Other than books/supplies, it tends to be way to difficult for my family to really get me anything stamp related.
Josh
Josh,
I got that book a few months back - a fun read!
Randy
Tell us what you got for Christmas this year that was stamp-related! (NOT from yourself!!)
Here is what my wonderful wife gave me;
This is a very good I.D. guide covering ONLY the 4 stamps (and their variations) shown on the cover;
it includes actual color chips from the Munsell Book Of Color
----------------------------------------------
As the cover states, this guide covers all regular US issues from the years 1847-1934,
including those difficult Washington/Franklin issues.
