Periodically, I have posted a few Nazi Party covers here. My goal is to acquire covers from the various NSDAP offices that were part of Germans everyday life under the Third Reich.

For example, I have Hitler Youth (both boys and girls) offices, Social Welfare, Film, District Leaders, SA and now this condolence letter.

At some point, I will have to adapt a scholarly approach and track down a chart that shows readers all of the office divisions of the Nazi Party. I imagine there were many.

The following cover, mailed from the Wurzburg office, Kreisleiter or District Leader of the NSDAP still contained the letter, also reproduced here. There is a printed eagle and Der Kreisleiter Wurzburg on the back of the cover.

The letter to the family of a soldier expresses the condolences for the son who in the words of the writer died a hero's death. I'm sure there were many such condolences sent to grieving relatives.

Are there any other members here who also collect Nazi Party covers? I'm always looking for covers from offices I don't have.
