Silence in the face of adversity is the father of complicity and collusion, the first cousins of conspiracy..

In this edition Doug explains the how and why certain of the 2015 Machins have two different phosphors, Bright and Dull that all 2016 issues will have the new formula dull coatings.

The NVI 1st Purple/amethyst issues from SAP215 and SAP216 will display iridescent codes REIGC/O16R.
And of course there is other information for the Machinista.
In a week or two Doug hopes to have finished the updated disc incorporating the Bright/Dull phosphor info in the appropriate chapter. So it may be a good time to order a replacement or invest in the handbook as all sent out now will be mailed only after the updates are entered.

re: DGR 119 is available

The Complete Deegam Machin Handbook is available from the author for about £39.00 and airmail servive worldwide is included in that price.
Doug also produces Deegam Reports several times a year which contains information as it develops that can be downloaded by the disc owners with their ID/password .
Owners can also replace the original disc from the author from Bridport in southern England for about £20 with a new updated disc so that the CDMC can always be up to date.

One word of caution.
At times, on eBay and other sales platforms, older print versions of the CDMH are offered for prices close to $100 or there abouts. While cuddling up in front of the fireplace with a stamp catalog on a cold snowy night may seem romantic, it doesn't appear to be fiscally sound since the discs can be had for roughly $50 and will contain so much more up to date information.
I suspect that Scott or Gibbons catalog users will be astounded when they see what is included in the disc version.
