The Auction Rules have been updated. Users of both the Auctions and Approvals should review them.
Highlights include:
- renumbering the rules by section
- reordering a few rules to put them in a more proper sequence
- rewording some rules to clarify and in some instances simplify
- defining time periods using business days and calendar days
- permitting the Ombudsman to investigate disputes with the same authority as the Auctioneer (see Rule F4)
Some specific changes include:
A2. In several disputes when reviewing member profile information, I have found fictitious information. If someone is going to sell or buy they need to be truthful in their profile information, or they will not be allowed to use the sales platforms.
C8. Previously it was implied that relying on images alone to describe the condition of a stamp was not permitted. This is now specifically added to the rules.
C17. Sellers must now ship purchases within 5 business days of receiving cleared payment rather than 10 days.
Section H, Sanctions has been modified.

Thanks to all who use the sales platforms and follow the rules (and that is almost everyone). It is appreciated by all.
