My daughter is the Director of the Danish Festival Parade, and as has been the case the last six years now it went off without a hitch (...says a proud father!)
Anyway, each year for I don't know how long now, our local PO has put out a special cancel to honor the event.
I went to our PO to ship back some APS approval books for our local club and at the same time asked for the special cancel on cover....and the clerk told me I was the very first customer for the cancel! Way Cool! I got the FIRST ONE!!!
Now if only the postmaster had been there to sign it for me....oh well!

Too bad they didn't pick a more interesting stamp to use, too.

Those look delicious, BF! (I like the raspberry ones!)
But - I can get those at the local Walmart most any time;
The REAL treat during this festival is going to the Æbleskiver booth....yummm!!!!
