Check out the list of people with Huguenot ancestry on Wikipedia (Davy Crockett, Johnny Depp - two unexpected names that leap out at a glance) and cross-reference with an online catalogue. You should be able to pick up a few pages' worth for your album. (General Patton?! You may need to draw up your own definitions and limitations, as these lists tend to be inclusive rather than the other way round.)
Sounds like a great topic..New Paltz,N.Y. was founded by Huguenots and there were a good many here in our region of the Hudson Valley as well as Palatines and Dutch.
I am trying to start a new theme for my collection: Huguenot Heritage.
So far I have found only 28 stamps:
2 from South Africa, 1939
2 from South West Africa, 1939 (the same South African with SWA overprint)
12 from South Africa, 1988
2 from France
6 from Jersey, 1985
3 from the US, 1924
1 from Denmark, 1985
Does anyone have a better number?
