I didn't mention the SCN either. What a doofus! Shanghai 55, mint no gum, although there is a little gum remainder on a couple of these.
The scan is frankly too blurred...
However it appears very similar to the genuine but differences are visible
Forgeries with these can be the matter of a misplaced stroke
Anyway you might have a genuine & fairly valuable in a block.
I would get a $5 opinion from the US China Society

I figure since I have 6 of these and they catalogue at $55 each, they must be counterfeit. But on the other hand, the overprint is just as blurred as the picture in Scott's. Any thoughts? All will be appreciated.
