Gonna throw out a quick guess. New York
Or quite possibly Florida. With all the retirees
Probably followed by the multitude of retirees here in Florida?
Theresa. We were thinking the same thing
If we go by a percentage of the population, CA,NY,TX,IL and FL should top the list.
Seem to be quite a few from Arizona, too.
From the Stamporama member database, counting only those members who have logged in since the beginning of the year (just over 1000 members) the breakdown by country is as follows:

Where are you pulling your information from?
Seems we have a lot of members here in Florida. They keep popping up. And we are not old retirees down here, hee hee hee, I refuse to be old!
Well, see? I jumped before I read all the posts and wonderful Roy has answered the question. Awesome list!
And looky, Florida has the largest members. Hey, we have to do something inside when it's blowing rain and hotter than a you-know-what!
...and that sort of answers another question. With a membership role of a little over 3,000, only about 1/3 are truly active members. The other 2/3 haven't logged in here during 2016. Even some of the 1,000 no longer sign in here.
I note that three New Mexicans are members of Stamporama, and only one has been active in the last year. That's not surprising. I grew up in Silver City, New Mexico (home of the young Billy the Kid as well as Lunar Apollo astronaut Harrison Schmidt). There used to be a stamp shop in Albuquerque, but I don't think it's still around. In the 1950's there was an approval dealer — Gadsden* Stamps, I believe — who lived a couple of blocks from my grandparents, in nearby Hurley. The few New Mexico covers that I have come by have taken years to accumulate.
Jim Forte of Jim Forte Postal History includes interesting notes about the philatelic market in his state listings. This is what he says about New Mexico:
"Because of the very accessible territorial period, New Mexico has had a developed market for its covers for over 40 years. Needless to say, there have been a number of changes over the years. The great initial New Mexico territorial collections have long since been dispersed. There are very few active collectors. Most of them now concentrate only on a part of the state. A recent 25% price cut last year did not spur any new demand. I fear it may be decades before New Mexico covers come again into vogue.
Among the 50 states, the District of Columbia, R.P.O.'s and Streetcars, New Mexico rates as the 44th state in terms of percentage of covers sold at 46.82%. It ranks 23rd in terms of the value of covers sold as percentage of all town cancels sold at 1.45%. The overall rank is 41st. This is a ten year running average. The most recent trends are about the same."
I noticed that North and South Dakota, as well as Wyoming show up ar goose eggs, yet I know that "Dakota" has been active in sales and there was/is someone from Williston North Dakota I have corresponded with this year.
BYW:: Despite the fact that I am living in Texas for almost a year, I am still a legal resident of Florida.

Dakota is still around. However I am from the opposite end of the state from Williston. I am from Wahpeton.
I figured Minnesota would make the top 10.
Go ND go! We have 4 of us yeah!
Hey Carabop! I just checked the Members area. It looks like there are 5 members from North Dakota.
Typical the UK gets Bronze medal with 44.
We have seen the list of countries represented here by our membership -
but I'm curious about these here United States (those from other nations, please indulge me)......
I'm curious about which US state has the highest representation of members here...?
Is there a somewhat simple way to chart this?
