Agreed!
From what I could see it is all modern inexpensive stuff. The reference to early 20th and 19th century material is not borne out with photos.

Oh man, somebody's cat is bidding again!
More likely an attempt at a schill bid from a less than skilled seller. Wait till he gets eBay's request for their cut of the sale.
I just did some snooping. Seller has been on eBay about a year. Bought items from two sellers, and only sold this one item. Total feedback 3. Weird, I seem to remember that you needed a specific feedback number to sell.
Lot was listed at a $20,000 start price and a Buy It Now at $30,000. In the text seller says "First $25,000 takes it". Bidder hit the Buy It Now. Buyer is no newbie, with 1156 feedback.
I can't see anyone buying a collection from those few photos. I don't see any mounts on the black pages, so stamps could all be hinged, or worse yet, licked and stuck to the pages! I dunno!
"I seem to remember that you needed a specific feedback number to sell"
Wonder what the seller fee is going to be on this?
As for cats bidding, that did happen once to me. I was in the midst of placing a bid when I got distracted and my cat walked across the keyboard and I saw I'd bid several million dollars on a $5 cover. I got a popup saying I was not authorized to execute a bid in that amount.
Simple Math
Apparent CV $120,000
13,000+ WW stamps
Average CV $9-$10 each
CV of stamps shown - $0.10-$0.20 each
I don't care about the seller's stamps
I need to find that dealer who offered $15,000+ - I have some bargains for him

He is probably down by Adams Street setting up his toll booth.

Went for $30,000. No way this is anything other than money laundering.
Am I missing something obvious?
