The United States Postal Service proposed to raise the rate on First-Class Mail Parcels (FCMP) weighing between 1-3 ounces. If approved, the new rate will go into effect on August 28, 2016.
The proposed new USPS rate is as follows:
1-3oz First Class Mail Parcel Retail:
Currently $2.45
Proposed $2.62
Are we now going to have to be subjected to nickel and dime rate increases at any time during the year for one rate fee item or another?

Probably yes, at least as long as our lawfully elected Congress which must approve rate changes only responds to impending doom.
