I decided to add a second prize as some of you don't collect modern GB. So here is an old, raggedy, tiny cover - I have absolutely no idea if the cancel is of any interest as this is not my area of expertise. But who doesn't like a tiny, 144 year old cover, eh?
The first name drawn will be given a choice of the Star Wars sheet or the Mini Cover. Second place winner gets the other one. Even more fun, eh?

Great Britain Week begins this upcoming weekend. I thought I would post this now to give sellers a few days to prep some lots and approval books.
Several people have mentioned that they are really looking forward to the Great Britain week! We'll pay homage to the birthplace of the first postage stamp and philately!

I hope your cover arrived with a cancel? Bob's was cancelled on the back and his imperf was a skip. Drat drat and double drat! LOL My local PO only uses smeary red cancels, so I have been sending my covers on their way into the crap shoot that is the automated cancelling world of the USPS. I REALLY need to get a new MPP! Darn procrastination!

Not anymore..... Went to the P.O. today, and they were kind enough to apply a wonderful C.D.S cancel to the Flannery O'Connor stamp and they also canceled the 2007 Easter seal Stamp that was on the cover..
