END OF CATALOG REVIEW
Overall value change from 2015 catalogs to 2017 catalogs was +1.9%
This thread contains my review of a catalog value comparison between the 2015 Scott catalogs and the 2017 Scott Catalogs. It is strictly a comparison of values of the stamps in my personal collection. If you were to do the same thing as what I am doing here, your results may be different if your collection is made up differently than mine. An example would be that most of my Czechoslovakia is primarily mint, never hinged and almost complete. If you collect Czechoslovakia, but it is primarily used incomplete sets and only 35% complete, you may see different results if you did this review.
As I list the various countries, in Scott order unless specified otherwise, I will add some comments of possible interest to let you know what I have found. If the comparison of a country doesn't offer much, then there will not be much if any special notes.
There is one rule with this thread, do NOT post comments on this thread. Comments will make it difficult for others to see the reviews as I post them. Any comments posted here will be deleted. You've been warned, so don't complain if you post and it is deleted.
You are welcome to post all the comments you want on the catalog review post thread.
Thanks for everyone's cooperation, and enjoy the reviews.

SCOTT CATALOG VOLUME I
United States +0.3%
Stamps from 1922-1925 saw a decrease in never hinged values. From 1980 onward values for booklets, booklet panes and booklet singles are generally down. A nice change to the listings from 1986 on is that Scott now lists and values, with minor numbers, the booklet single stamps. Previously, Scott had a note stating that the booklet singles (they look like coils but are not, by the way) were worth about half of the regular stamps. That no longer holds true. Most of the booklet stamps are worth as much or more than the regular stamps.
Semi-postals are up. Postal Tax stamps saw several changes with most of them down. Occupations stamps mostly saw large decreases in the stamps with higher catalog values, while some other occupation stamps had increases. I do not have any stamps from Mount Athos.
