Great looking stamps! I gotta say though, in these diverse times I'm surprised the ladies of Star Trek aren't represented. Lt. Uhura was fantastic and if memory serves correctly, Lars asked, quite appropriately I might add, for Lt. Rand.

The Ladies of Star Trek? Tuvalu did that:

A lenticular (motion) souvenir sheet containing two $5 stamps was issued. One shows Scotty beaming Kirk and crew down. Here is a screen capture:
Wonderful!
Almost makes me want to collect Canadian....
Always liked Star Trek much more than Star Wars.
Just returned from the post office on Third Ave., in Ottawa. They are selling out FAST!
Looks like CPC has a hit with these.

I bought the stamps now, because I wasn't certain what would be included in the quarterly new issue shipments. I didn't want to take a chance. I'll hazard a guess that the booklets and maybe even sheets won't be included in the packs. I didn't get the FDCs, post cards or the high dollar fluff stuff that's not philatelic.
Plus, if you look at the Canada Post web site, many of the Star Trek items were issued in very limited quantity. Some of those probably will not get listed in the catalogs.
I will be looking to get a nice current postmark from "Vulcan" on a letter I will send to myself.

I did end up buying the two press sheets. Here is the one containing the deluxe booklet souvenir sheets. The lenticular sheet is difficult to photograph.
I wonder what kind of a deal Canada Post worked out with Paramount (CBS now - thanks, Michael). The USPS issues are so blah in comparison!
Paramount no longer owns the rights to Star Trek. CBS does.
I heard that the new Star Trek series that CBS will air sometime within the next year will ONLY be available to subscribers of their premium service. I doubt that decision will be well received.

"Hmmm...I wonder how it will it be available in Canada."
So glad I found this link.
I've been a Star Trek fan since Star-date 1413.1 (See episode 1). After much ado, I was finally able to get an order placed for shipment to my home.
Although I don't collect Canada specifically, if it's Star Trek related, I'm going to like it.
Now I have to find out more about the CBS Series and how to get it.
Received my order from Canada Post today. Nice!

Paramount is Viacom which essentially is the other half of CBS. Hopefully when saner heads prevail Viacom and CBS will be reunited because the original spinoff was nonsensical
More To the point, the U.S. Stamps are awful as usual, probably due to unwillingness to pay a royalty or license fee and the Canadian stamps are spot on beautiful, just another reason to beg for Canadian citizenship.
Received mine yesterday.
Finally got to open it today.
Love the stamps.
A quick question on these Canadian Star Trek souvenir sheets. If used, can they be safely soaked off of the package to which they have been applied? How about the Christmas souvenir sheet? All three were used to pay postage on a package recently sent to me. If they were on paper I wouldn't attempt to remove them, but all three are on one box consisting of stiff cardboard.
I would.
Have a look at this for some ideas.

But have a practice on something of lesser importance first!
OK stamps, the Christmas and Star Trek Starships sheets will soak of easily. As for the lenticular sheet, I do not know. I know there were problems soaking the Montreal Canadiens lenticular sheet a few years ago.
I finally added last year's US stamps into my album. I added the block of four Star Trek stamps. I had also bought a pane of the Star Trek stamps with the intention of mounting it on a blank page.
I just happened to receive the 2017 Star Trek stamps from Canada Post. Looking at the 2016 and 2017 stamps from Canada and the US stamps, I put my US Star Trek pane in my stock book that holds the stamps that I use for postage.
Is the 2017 Lenticular souvenir sheet still available from Canada Post? I do not see it on their web site.
Thanks,
Josh
It is not in the quarterly new issue pack.
Here's the number to Canada Post Philatelic Center 800-565-4362 (Canada and US)
Josh - I 'think' that souvenir sheet is only available in the Star Trek Prestige Booklet.

If you're looking for the $5.00 "Borg" stamp, it is in that booklet. I have one.
You can see the full lineup at canadapost.ca/startrek
The cost of the booklet is $21.95 plus tax and contains 5 souvenir sheets (25 pages).
Liz
Thanks, All. I figured it out - I was confused - the Lenticular sheet I was looking for was actually the 2016 issue, not a new 2017 issue, which I had actually bought last year already.
Thanks,
Josh
Canada Post is going all-out with its high-dollar tribute to Star Trek. Here's the link that shows you what's being offered for sale:
