More votes needed! Don't be shy - hey since when have any Stamporama folks been too shy to speak their mind? Like that would ever happen LOL! Just teasing us all - so pick your favorite silly phrase. Just for fun!

OK - final time to vote will be tonight - let's say 6 pm EST.
"let's say 6 pm EST. "
You said it very, very nicely! Well done, Ted! Atta boy!
I've been stumping my way through 2 cent Washington stumps all week and now I'm feeling...really stumped!
WB
P.S. actually, Molecular Philately rolls off the tongue pretty good...it gets my vote.
So how will we use Hardcore Philately as a present participle?
"I am hardcorely philatelizing this stamp, trying to determine which variety it is."
I like "stumping." That's what I'm going to use.
Ted
Here are the results;
The most votes go to Hardcore Philately with Forensic Philately a close second and Varietal Collecting 3rd place. Hardcore Philately wins the imperf block of 4! Woohoo!
So we now have a NOUN to describe this aspect of philately but as Ted points out we need a verb. So in honor of Ted's grammatical observations, "stumping" will get an imperf pair mailed on a cover as a sort honorary mention prize.
So, all you 'hardcore philatelists', raise your perf gauges, watermark detectors and UV lights and salute Josh Tanski the clever, witty creator of the term.
And a tip of the tongs to White Buffalo for giving us a handy little verb we can use when scratching our heads trying identify those tricky varieties.
Thanks everyone for joining in to have a little bit of silly fun. All of the entries were winners.
I have your addresses fellas - your prizes will be in tomorrows mail. Congrats!
Oh well thank you very much, Theresa!! (and Ted!!) Covers are a relatively new area for me and this one will be a very fun addition to my modest collection!
With much appreciation and a hardy congrats to Josh,
