They are listed in Sakura, but excluding print quantities and FDC pricing, there isn't a tremendously greater amount of information unless you can read Japanese?
I don't have a copy for Ryukyu, but Michel seems to be the most info dense catalog publisher for general listings. That is my comparison to Scott and Gibbons - I've never used Yvert.
If you want something extremely comprehensive, then the Ryukyu Philatelic Specialist Society (RPSS) Specialized Catalogue (in 10 parts).
Be prepared -- each part is NOT cheap, but you can save a lot of money by purchasing the digital version on CD. But even a complete CD version can add up in the US$100s range!
Fortunately, you can purchase the part (and even the subsection of the part) of interest to you. I think the CDs for each subsection run up to $20 each. If remember correctly, each part typically has 2-4 subsections, but may have as much as 10+ subsections! So for some parts, the CD version can still get pretty pricey.
I would suggest you contact them for more details/info and current pricing.
That is one of the most comprehensive specialty catalogs available for Ryukyu.
Thank you both for all that info. Now I have a direction to look.
Does anyone know of a specialized Ryukyu Islands catalog other than the one in Scotts US Specialized?
