You come pretty cheap, Ted. Do you do windows?
Very nice gesture, they need more like him/her.

Oh, man, am I embarrassed. I just had to sign for a delivery; while I'm signing the postlady says, "I didn't have a postage due envelope the other day, so I paid it."
"Oh, thanks, " I replied, "I appreciate it."
As I finish signing, she says, "You don't happen to have the 43c, do you?"

UPS actually did what I asked today! On a normal day the driver backs up my driveway, tosses a package on my lawn or driveway from a seat position (I actually witnessed this from an upstairs window) and drives away.
The big model show is Saturday and I knew I was expecting a dozen large boxes today. And it looked like it might rain. So I left one of my garage unlocked and left a sign on the door "UPS - Door Unlocked, please put packages in garage and lock door".
To my amazement I came home and it was done just as I asked. He even took down the sign and put it on the top box.
Just for a change, some kudos for Canada Post.
I purchased a set of 2014 Scott from a seller on Kijiji ($ca75). They were posted yesterday afternoon from Winnipeg and arrived, in our post office in Neepawa, 200 km west, this morning at 8.30am. They were parcel post rather than one day business post.
Maybe the fact that it was COD was the deciding factor?
Whichever, I appreciate getting them so quickly.
Received this stamp order in the mail today, with a Post-it note attached from my mail lady.
