The online catalog for France at Colnect has both for the early issues. Use the Yt & SN catlogues codes.

Thanks for the Colnect idea. I spent several minutes fiddling with it and just don't follow how it works. My main concern is getting equivalency between Scott and Yvert for the 19th century issues. I just don't see that on there. It does look to have Scott #s for a lot of more recent stuff.

Does anyone know of any cross reference that gives corresponding Yvert #s for Scott on the early French issues? I recently purchased a Yvert album and am having difficulty figuring out where some of the early stamps go. Or maybe of a dealer who used both catalog numbers in their listing?
