It appears to me that the wavy lines in the background are blue.
My eyes see nothing wrong with the stamp.

The stamp has a catalog value at $62.50 so I just wanted to be sure

Bill, It's %100 ok. That's just the way they look. It's a tough stamp that I don't have. The only problem is the star cut cancel which probably means it was used for telegraph use which would devalue it quite a bit. Still I'd be glad to have it.
