It's the penny that throws you off, huh?
"It's the penny that throws you off, huh?"
Ted,
Do you want it by buyer or just a grand total?
Tim
)I'm just interested in the grand total, so I can see at a glance how bidding is progressing (or not ).
Tim,
I hate to make more work but a tentative total on the buyer's "Lots win" page would be nice.
I often bid on and win what amounts to a long line of individual stamps from different sellers and wonder how much I'm in for with that seller.
Of course, I could use the calculator to add things up but with my messed up fingers (Too big and limited feeling ) and only so many on the screen at a time, I usually lose my place and have to start again, Then when I get the total I wonder if I missed something so I get frustrated and just ask for an invoice so I can clear the deck.
Ted and Charlie,
I shall make it happen.
Regards ... Tim.
Ted,
I have added the counts that I thought would be useful to the bottom off the Sellers list of lots. Let me know if I've missed any that you think would be useful.
Charlie,
Part of what you were asking for was already there, but not very visible. To see how much you are up for on lots that you have bid on but have not closed, go to the View Open Lots screen under the Buyer dropdown. Click on the "Seller" heading and it will group by Seller giving a total.
In the Buyer's List (View Won Lots) I have added a total amount by Seller.
Regards ... Tim.
Thanks, Tim. Your skills are beyond compare.

When I look at Sellers/View Sold Lots, I know I have a filter to sort by the last 1 day, 3 days, 7 days etc..all the way to 365 days.
Very useful and I use it to get close to my goal...to look at the unpaid items by buyer.
I would find it extremely useful if an additioanl filter that separated Paid for Unpaid orders was available.
Especially usefull when I look at small unpaid orders (yes, there are a few, and even some I have not billed as they are just too small to bill) that are several months old, and I have to sieve through a lot of Paid stuff to survey them.
I know I can use the Issue a new Invoice to get to them..even if I will not issue the invoice, but a filter just in the View Sold Lots would be great, if it is not too much work.

Hi Ralph,
Leave this one with me. I'll have to think about it for a bit to work out the best way to do it.
Regards ... Tim.

And so you did, although I mentally added two sellers lots and on the third one "Bingo" there was the total.
Thanks Tim, I'll see if there is room for you in my will.
Charlie
I found the improvement on the bottom of my items for sale page before I found this thread. A great tool! This is what lifts Stamporama above all other selling venues. The willingness of moderators to listen to ideas and implement them. Thanks Tim.
"Your total amount outstanding for open auctions is $1830.01"
A message like the above appears at the bottom of the auction listings on which a member is bidding.
Could we get a similar message (but one with an even higher dollar amount ) to appear when a seller checks the status of their open auctions? (My co-workers hate it when I keep taking off my shoes, so I can count past 10.)
