When I access SOR but don't log-in, no 'unread' posts are highlighted. When I log-in however, they appear as they should.

This oddity occurs in each of the categories: Last Day. Last Week, Last 30 etc.

In addition, I just noticed before logging in to make this post, no topic headings appeared, just a list of thread titles.

Is this just me? This has only happened today over the course of a few hours.

Please ignore that statement. In fact that was because I selected 'Last 30 by time'.

I logged off after my previous post and tried viewing by 'Last Day'. I got the same result but when I click on any thread, it takes me to the top (first) post in each case.

I'm pretty sure you need to be logged in so that the system knows who you are and which posts are new.

Clive and Ted,
You are both correct. I made a change today that will keep our club business off the general internet. It does mean that you need to be logged in to see everything. There is no downside to remaining logged in and then the next time you come back to the site everything will be as you left it.

Regards ... Tim.

Good move Tim. Always have been concerned about how all my posts find their way on Google.

Hi Ralph,
Most of our posts are open to the general internet and hence Google. I have made a couple of the Topics, like the Club Business topic, so that it is only visible if you are logged in, but most of the others are open for anyone to read.

Regards ... Tim
