- Want ads that had an active listing time frame of 60 days will now have a listing time frame of 30 days. We found that almost all the want ads were either answered or fell dormant within 30 days or less. Want ads with the 14 day active time frame will remain with the 14 day limit.
- Discussions will now be permitted in the want ad threads. This means that the offers may now be openly discussed. However, the final details for those accepting the offers should still be made through private message so as not to openly disclose addresses and other personal information. Please remember that these threads are deleted after either 14 or 30 days, as applicable. All discussions will also be deleted with the thread.
These changes are now in effect. Updates to the want ads topic descriptions will be made soon. The Classified Rules page has already been updated. Here is a link to the revised rules:
