Unitrade shows #596 tagged. I have quite a few that are clearly tagged with the 2 bars on the side then I have a bunch with no tag showing at all..can someone tell me what Scotts # would be given to them..I'm confused on these - nothing new with this old birdLaughing

Hi,

You may have the W2B (Winnipeg 2 Bar) version of 596 (either DF (dull Fluorescent paper ribbed vertically, dull Fluorescent paper horizontally ribbed paper or low flurescent front/ dull fluorscent back ribbed vertically). For Winnipeg tagging you need to use short wave UV in a very dark room - there is an after glow.

And my suggestion would be to keep ALL the OP4 tagged stamps from this set of Landscapes away from all your other stamps. The tagging will migrate across the stamps and onto other stamps that they come into contact with.

Plain paper within a SEALED cellophane slieve is the best way. The luminescence migrates very easily. I think that later printings are somewhat more stable but unfortunately there is no way of knowing so safety first.
