The lower one is an Austria Offices in Turkey Scott# 3 or 7E. The upper stamps look good to me but it is usually best to get a more expensive stamp expertized.
The lower stamp has been cut out from a 5 kreuzer Austrian post card.
The Austro-Hungarian stamps in a similar design for use in the Turkish Empire used the soldi currency of Lombardy-Venetia.
Thank You for the quick help Nigelc and Dakota ..
Hi Dakota do you think I should get the 42 claret expertised ?
I would be cautious with the Wurttemberg shades. Michel lists three shades of this 5kr value: rosa, karmin and lilarot (with the lilarot having the high price).
Hi Nigelc
At a glance what color would you say the 5kr value is ?
Your opinion ?
Thank You..
Rose.
I see no reason to think the second #42 is Claret. Claret is a much deeper darker color than Rose. I would not hesitate to think that both are Rose in color. Rose is often prone to fading.
Thank You all..
The Majority say Rose..
Are the above cataloged correctly ?
I cannot find this one
Thank You in Advance for your help ..
