Its a good thing i have varied interests in stamps ! I went to a stamp bourse in Troy Sunday to meet a fellow who could help me fill in my Sri Lanka album. When we walked in the place was like a morgue..only a few vendors probably due to the Holidays. Doubleday Philatelics was there and they had a nice selection of Dutch Indies covers. Most of my Dutch Indies covers are DC-2 flights from there to the Netherlands in the mid 1930's. I wanted this one from 1948 because it was close to the end of Dutch rule in Indonesia. I like the destination also..Shanghai !
