I found this cover that I picked up at a recent meeting of the Minnesota Postal History Society quite interesting.

Addressed to Mr J C Ralphsynder who was a lawyer and politician and as it seems, was a bit of a scoundrel. On Sept 15th 1898 he was taken to the Supreme Court of Appeals because at a real estate auction he conspired with the only other bidder so they wouldn't bid against each other thereby keeping the final selling price of the property very low. After hearing from both sides in a trial lasting 3 months, the Court decided in favor of Mr Ralphsnyder, which I think seems quite unfair.

"Isaac Asimov once said if his doctor told him he was dying, he wouldn’t lament, he would just type a little faster. "
