Aside from the predicable Inverted Jenny, 1c magenta British Guiana, or the Treskilling banco, I would like the complete set, MNH, of the USA 1869 pictorial set well centered.
Kelly, if Santa would like to drop off any of the GB stamps that I shall never be able to afford, I'd bake a special batch of cookies and leave a bottle of Laphroaig out for him, to heck with the milk.
A Hamilton Postmaster provisional on cover would suit quite nicely.
Our local P.O. was established in 1875. I'd love to have a cancelled cover from that first year! But any cancelled cover from the earlier years would be great.

Please Santa bring me a MNH set of one the greatest sets of stamps ever produced.

It's not that Santa can't deliver it's just that I think this might be a bit steep ??But I'm thinking about it!! What do you think ? € 377.75
I would tell Santa it's too expensive ! Just a little too expensive.
I wouldn't mind if Santa brought me this !
Santa, my needs are simpler than all my fellows here who want the world's most valuable stamps. Here are the five I need to complete my 'Victims of Stalin's Purges' album - none of which are expensive, all of which are absent in UK dealers' stockbooks and stamp lists. They have to be mint (not CTO) but (contrary to those writing in another thread) I don't mind a bit of fugitive colour on the back (so long as it doesn't affect the colour on the front)!
Thanks, Santa!
(Oh, and if any of you ladies or gentlemen have a spare one do get in touch )
What would be on my wish list is a cover flown during the ASTP Joint Space Mission in 1975.
Scott 318. That's the official USPO delivered coil stamp of my Ben Franklins. Never saw one, catalogs in the thousands. While we're dreaming can I have it on cover with proper non-philatelic usage please?
I have the 90 cent Lincoln 1869 Pictoral (my favorite stamp) in proof, altered proof, used and unused. But the stamp I want the most is the inverted proof of it. It only cats for a few thousand but I can't remember ever seeing one for sale, except in an old auction cat.
One sheet of 100 is known to have been printed so pretty scarce.
However a $500 U.S. Persian rug, R133 would also do.
Without a doubt I would want a Cape of Good Hope wood block on cover.
Although a copy of the Norwgian missionary stamps from Madagascar would suffice.
US #1 & #2 Not picky about condition... but if we're dreaming...
Haha hey Blair,
Santa can do it! Go ahead and ask him for two beautiful pairs with generous margins all the way around.

...from your lips to Santa's ears Ernie...
I'd settle for the Inverted Jenny souvenir sheet, upright version. I don't care that it's an artificial rarity created by the USPS public relations team; I'd still like to have it.
I know that Santa is very busy, so I thought I'd help him out and give him a few options. Any of these under the Christmas tree on Christmas morning would find me a very happy camper.
Ps. Dear Santa, all with the first watermark please.
I would say an Inverted Jenny and a US Scott #1 and #2, but I don't want to be greedy. So Santa, you can bring me just one of them!
My wish list is too long for Santa to sort through; but I would settle for a cover from Elm Tree, Ontario - the post office near my cottage - from when it was still around way back in the day. Apparently, the post office was a barn on someone's property (and it's for sale now); and letters were delivered in a very haphazard way. On Bull Lake, just outside of Elm Tree proper, there's a bay called "Post Office Bay," where letters were left in a box for delivery further down the Salmon River. Please, Santa. I've been good all year...

If Santa could deliver any stamp/cover in the world, what would be on your wish list?
