I found these images of a cover which made me giggle. The eye catching stamp is in fact a matchbox label. Well, it didn't quite work, for the post office clerks were a bit too sharp and added postage due.







I don't suppose the business that sent this impressed the recipient.

Perhaps this might cue others to show examples of daft frankings that either got through, or failed.
