I have a quick question for those more experienced than me. I know what a vario page is and how many of you use them but is "Vario" a name for the style of page or an actual brand name? Thanks for your replies.

It is a brand name. Much like Kleenex, Coke, and Xerox, it has entered the vernacular as a "type" of storage device, but has many clones under various brands.

**technically, the Vario brand is by Leuchtturm, a German company (which translates to Lighthouse). The Lighthouse name is used in English speaking countries, while the rest of the world knows the company as Leuchtturm.
