a lovely fall day in the Hudson valley ..we went to a church yard sale in Rhinebeck and with my nose for paper goods i spotted a small shoebox of older (WW2) era U.S. covers..i spotted some special delivery covers so i decided to take a chance and buy them. This one of course is a meter special delivery..i do not see too many of those ! Image Not Found

some have the regular special delivery stamp affixed..but i seem to prefer the ones that do not ! Image Not Found

i have so many collections running roughshod through 12 or 15 cover albums..you would think i would collate them one day ! Sad

I do like your postage meter cover Phil. I must say the meter's design is one of the most elegant I have seen. I can appreciate your attraction.

Thank you Ningpo, i have always liked stamps from age 9 or so...but with covers it may be more like Love ! Happy
