Scott #4873, issued in 2014 shows the USS Arizona memorial. It is $19.99 for Express Mail.
Scott #2559, issued in 1991 has a stamp in the sheet (#2559i) depicting the bombing of Pearl Harbor.
And to be complete in 1942, Japan issued two stamps in December 1942 showing Battleship Row during the attack a year earlier.
This photo shows the USS Arizona with the USS Vestal alongside, was taken by a Japanese pilot a few minutes before a bomb penetrated the Arizona's decks and exploded.
I was very pleased to visit the memorial built across the hull of the Arizona last year. When I was stationed in Hawaii the memorial was just a dream in the mind of some committed patrons, and a few years later on a short visit it was under construction.
While a trip to Hawaii may be out of many members budgets, if it is ever possible, visiting Pearl harbor and later the Punchbowl National Cemetery is a must see.
Hey guys has there ever been or are there any plans for a USS ARIZONA stamp or any stamps remembering Pearl Habor ?
