Actually, that was the original name. It was renamed McKinley.
Now Pluto! That's another issue entirely!

Denali was its original name. I'm glad they restored it.
Name man-made objects such as airports (Reagan International), highways (Eisenhower Expressway), schools (Chester A. Arthur of Die Hard fame), bridges (George Washington Bridge), tunnels (Lincoln Tunnel), dams (Hoover Dam), aircraft carriers (John F. Kennedy), and monuments (Jefferson Memorial) after dead Presidents. Don't tarnish a natural wonder with a political label!

But that is a commercial event. I have no problem with commercial sponsors of commercial events. I'd like to see NASA adopt the NASCAR philosophy:
"And now we have the launch of the Coca-Cola, Nabisco, Viagra, Quicken Loans, Red Bull, GoDaddy STS 123 shuttle mission." Let commercial advertisers pay for the space program and add their logos to the side of the shuttles.
The best part: All the logos burn off on re-entry and it's ready for new advertisers!
Do the same thing for stamps. Sell Coca-Cola and Pepsi forever stamps at a discount and let the advertisers pick up the difference. You know they would at some point!
