Hi,
Denmark Scott #330 and 331 issued April 1 1951.

Perfect!! I just located a postcard with the stamps on line....You guys are the best!
Sort of looks like Cinderella's carriage.
An interesting contraption.
Wow, the driver even looks mummified, but those were the good ol' days when people were really dedicated to their jobs.

If the picture was taken after midnight, the coachman is probably morphing into a mouse.
As as engineer I have to ask, how did the ball work? Outside of possibly protection from the weather, I see no real advantages over a more conventional container.
I have always liked those stamps, but never knew until now that they depicted mail wagons. I thought it was maybe some kind of sophisticated beer delivery system , as it looks more like a liquid container than anything else.

An odd wagon referred to as a Ball Post delivered mail in Denmark in the early 1800`s I believe that it was depicted on a stamp or two as a centennial issue of their first stamp.... Can anyone help with the year...scott number even a picture...?
