I agree. The early 1960s space issues from Czechoslovakia are among the first stamps that I remember, and was one of the main factors that spurred me on to collect stamps.
They are good, aren't they? They are the work of designer J.Lukavsky and engraver J.Mracek, and since the style looked familiar I had a quick look at the catalogue, which confirms that the same designer did the 20th anniversary of Liberation set a year later, for which Mracek engraved one of the stamps. Socialist Republic = top designs, obviously!
I have been cataloging stamps from Czechoslovakia and came across these. I just love these stamps. The artist did a really fine job. They are really striking (iconic). They date from 1964.
