Wow--that just looks ugly--sorry about that Sean!
Last time I got one, there was an apology printed on the back of the envelope...
Chris
It would have been better if they explained what happened, at least then it might be interesting. Was it found inside of a high speed sorter, behind a counter, or in a wastebasket? I'll never know.
I would be suspicious of the manner in which the seller packed, I presume, stamps? A small envelope, if a large order, overstuffed, and past the dimensions(thickness) of a standard first class envelope of which only 49 cents was paid for postage.
If my premise is correct, the envelope should have been presented as a large envelope, the non-machinable surcharge paid, and the envelope would not have gotten jammed in the standard envelope automatic sorting machinery.
This is what is left of an ebay lot I purchased back in early March. It never arrived and seller refunded my money. This just arrived today from the USPS. No explanation or apology.
