Happy Victoria Day!
Honour is the "French Way" 
I think. 'Mericans spell it "Honor" We are still rebels at heart
and must be different, like driving on the other side of the road. 
Personally I will celebrate ANY holiday because it's an excuse to eat a lot of food.

I had a chance to drool over the 12d black shown above - the real deal at the postal museum. Oh how I wish I could have gotten cost to the glass casing! It's really exciting for me since I had that chance to transcribe that article on the finding of the 12 pence that was thrown out the window.

Below is an unissued plate proof black imperforate block of 4 Queensland 2d.
The others are 4 double imperforate sets of colour trials of the South Australian 2d

For all you non-Canadians out there, the Monday before May 25th is a federal holiday, and our traditional kick-off to summer (long lines of traffic heading for cottage country!)
