Isn't that the correct way to spell it? ;-)
Nice sheet of Vickies!
Happy Victoria Day!
Honour is the "French Way" I think. 'Mericans spell it "Honor" We are still rebels at heart and must be different, like driving on the other side of the road. Personally I will celebrate ANY holiday because it's an excuse to eat a lot of food.
Here's another one. 1940 Perkins Bacon Stamp Centenary private souvenir sheet:

I like this from Newfoundland
Stay safe everyone this holiday weekend.

The famous "Chalon portrait". After which the Perkins Bacon souvenir sheet above was modeled, as well as the classic "Chalon heads":
Happy birthday Vickie!

Here's my Vicky contribution, a complete used set of GB Victoria Jubilees:
I refer to the Canadian Victoria "Jubes" on this page. Perhaps another member could post an image of one of those? Or all of them?

Here is a page of "Vickies" from my Stamporama Exhibit "Just Because It's Pretty"

I'm in Ottawa/Gatineau for the week and plan to grab another Jubilee to add to my slowly growing Jubilee collection. What better way to celebrate the holiday?
Looks like in four years there will be a bicentennial celebration?
Nicknamed Fireworks Day - due to Queen Victoria's love of fireworks displays.
Cheers to all !
Jubilee acquired in honour of Victoria Day - and a nice addition to my album!
Thanks guys You got me organizing and placing my Vickies in their rightful page in my collection....Happy Victoria Day!
I had a chance to drool over the 12d black shown above - the real deal at the postal museum. Oh how I wish I could have gotten cost to the glass casing! It's really exciting for me since I had that chance to transcribe that article on the finding of the 12 pence that was thrown out the window.
My contribution in honour of Queen Victoria Day.
Below is an unissued plate proof black imperforate block of 4 Queensland 2d.
The others are 4 double imperforate sets of colour trials of the South Australian 2d
My avatar is also a part of my collection.
For all you non-Canadians out there, the Monday before May 25th is a federal holiday, and our traditional kick-off to summer (long lines of traffic heading for cottage country!)
Here is a Wiki article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victoria_Day
In honour (I don't care what Spellcheck says, that's NOT spelled wrong!) of Queen Victoria's 196th birthday (May 24, 1819), I invite everyone to show something philatelically interesting related to Victoria.
Here's a start that I picked up this week at the stamp club:
