There is no listing of any inverted overprint in the newspaper stamp section of my 2006 Michel West Europe.
There is a notation of "Falsch" without further elaboration, suggesting that fake overprints abound. Scott catalog also mentions the existence of numerous counterfeits.
Definitely a counterfeit. Scott also states that "Most examples of Nos. P1-P40 in the marketplace are counterfeits."
If the owner insists that it's a genuine stamp, I wouldn't buy from that seller.
Have the owner send you a copy of the catalog listing and a certificate. That should stop the insistence of it being genuine.
If a seller puts up a fuzzy image, there's probably a good reason for it.
