If you receive a similar email, go to your PayPal account through a separate window or tab (do not go through any links contained in the message - never click on a link within a suspicious email) and check your account. If no "bogus" charge is there, then you are OK. If there is a charge you do not recognize, immediately contact PayPal. Do this for the next couple of days.

I have had two of these over the past 6months both from UK paypal....and sometimes the email address has spelling errors....Beware!!!!

Tonight I received an email, supposedly from PayPal, indicating a charge handled by eBay in Australia. It's bogus, as confirmed by an easy google search of the email address. Here's what the email looked like:
