Anyone ever see these hinges before? I found these in my old stamp collecting stuff from when I was a kid and have never seen them anywhere again (eBay, elsewhere online, etc.). As the package indicates, they were sold in packages of 2000 and were in several individual glassine envelopes. Unfortunately, I only have one of those envelopes left unopened. Also, they are not pre-folded.

A quick unscientific test showed that they are (almost) as peelable as Dennisons and better than the Fold-O-Hinges.

Just curious if these are still around?

re: Harris Hinges

Alas, the Harris hinges are no longer made. But they would be in the top 5 in my book along with the Dennisons in regards to peelability. I don't know the original source of the Harris hinges or if Harris actually manufactured their own hinges.

Use them well..i sometimes find an opened envelope of 40 or 50 year hinges in a remainder collection..and they are most welcome. Happy
