If anyone wants to volunteer to proofread for me - just send me an inbox message. As you can see, I'm not infallible (darn, I think my halo just got tarnished!).
Bear in mind, this is just a "fun" addition to SOR - my main recruiting is for the Rambler
I have added the new Stamporama Gazette to the Stamporama Home Page. You will find it on the left hand side under the link to the Rambler.
I agree with all the postings under this thread. Kelly has done a fantastic job on this project. The Stamporama Gazette is a wonderful addition to the Stamporama offering. I look forward to the next issue.
Regards ... Tim.

My thanks to Sally for proofreading - I couldn't do it without you
Well folks, if you don't have enough reading to do on the discussion board or with our Rambler that is published every other month, we have a new feature here at SOR.
The Stamporama Gazette - An E-Newspaper.
There are lots of philatelic books out there that are in the public domain, but who really wants to sit down and read a PDF book cover to cover? I sure don't! So ... here's a new idea.
SOR will be publishing a weekly E-Newspaper. Why was the name "Gazette" chosen? As many of you have looked at old newspapers (not only Philatelic), almost all newspapers for some reason were called Gazette. What better name for an E-Newspaper that features books from the late 1800s and early 1900s?
Have no fear, it's light reading. Very informative in every edition and follows a book from beginning to end. Some weeks it will only be 5 or 6 pages and some weeks it may be as many as 12 or 13. If there more than 13 pages, please don't shoot me!
I hope you guys enjoy it. Reading the book that will be currently published over the next 25 weeks, I've learned quite a lot, not only about stamp collecting, but how the "experts" of philately viewed things in their day.
So here is The Stamporama Gazette - An E-Newspaper. At the bottom of the introduction, you will see the available newspaper articles (which at this time, is only one as it is the first week).
-----
P.S. If you see any typos, let me know - I'll double check the original text to see if there are mistakes. We don't want our E-Newspaper to have errors!!
