Hi Everyone;
Yes that is a nice news bit, and I saw error stamps on there I could never afford to buy. Thanks
for putting that up sheepshanks. I always did like listening to the BBC news on my shortwave
radio years ago. And they are still the tops today when it comes to the news.
When I tried to go to this linked site, went out for coffee, and the whirly-twirly thingy was still
twirly. So I returned to here, turned off Java Scripting and clicked again. Guess what it loaded
really fast.
Many sites external to here have lots of sloppy code and bad code editing. I used HTML editor
software, until I learned how to write the code that is functional and clean, and is easier to
read and edit. Trying to edit software HTML edited, code is useless. They use dozens of un-
necessary tags and jam all the code together, to make it unreadable.
Just thinkin'....

Excellent article Thankyou...This is what makes Stamporama so special...People sharing!!!!!
Thanks a bunch for this link! I read this article and a few others - the BBC is head and shoulders above most of the news sites here in the USA. Their articles actually have some depth! Good stuff.
I've been reading The Guardian lately. Click here.

Those that have a multichannel cable service might just find the BBC world service (USA) edition on one of the buried the dark numbers. Aljezera also, which, by the way, is not swamped with the anti-American rhetoric that I thought it would broadcast at first. They both seem to dig up some stories that are ignored by the ABC-CBS-NBC triumvirate that with subsidiary cable channels {CNN, MSNBC, Bloomberg and CNBC ) that dominate US news and opinion presentations locally.
We just went for the six channel recording with tremendous memory available so I can "twirl the dial," so to speak, and keep up with the news and most of the history channels' offerings.
Sorry, I have no idea what is presented in Canada, beyond that Fox was prohibited from getting a license due to the constant falsifications presented as news. I do wish that the main Canadian channel was available here.
Charlie...Can you access CBC or CTV on line.?..That is often how I see the news as Hubby is usually in tune with an American sport channel

BBC has a news item today, here is the link

Not overly interesting but at least it is publicity and if it starts a few more on the road that"s good for the hobby and for us overall.
