Hi everyone;
@ John & Everyone;
I used to use these for many years, but have since memorized most of the stamp inscriptions.
Here is an on-line stamp identifier, and it includes foreign alphabets including Cyrilic
(Russian, Bulgarian etc.) It includes not only country names but also currency spellings as
further tips. I still use this one from time-to-time!

When you scroll down you will find six options:
1) Alphabetical listed by country index
2) Keyword Index Alphabetical Index
3) Non-English Lettering Index
4) Non-English Overprint Index
5) Symbol Index
6) No Country Name Index
I find this index very useful and informative. I hope it can be of use to everyone else here
as well. They both load very fast, even on dial-up!
